Speech Talk

We have already learned a lot about concepts this year! So far we have worked with the following concepts: center, last, match, pair, between, few, as many, part, most, alike, and every. This week we will be learning the concept of separated. We start each lesson off with the students talking about what they might know about the concept and then we look it up in the dictionary to check our knowledge. After that we are off and running with activities designed to provide hands on practice with our concept of the week!

Concepts of the week will be coming soon to the West Bath Kindergartens.  As part of the Kindergarten Literacy Centers, basic concept assessments take place in the first few weeks of school and from there a list of priority concepts are chosen.  Each week one concept will be highlighted and taught at the Speech center.
